It sounds typical, but I’m a really big fan of Katoki’s mech designs. Though I seemed to have forgotten how crazy he went with the colors and panel lines with the Virtual On mechs. Still, his Zeta designs still prevails to this day and his re-designs of other classic mechs still strike me, despite the “Katoki foot syndrome”.
Frankly, it took me a while to get used to the newer color schemes of the Temjin, so I decided to go for the Shadow variant. I don’t think I ever want to draw a mech with this level of detailing ever again. And I’m pretty sure a lot of the parts are off.
Damn, I should have drawn Ulala after all, huh.
