Oh god I can’t draw moe

Gwendolyn
I managed to do some Gwendolyn sketches after talking about Odin Sphere today. Apparently, Vanillaware has a new Wii game and it looks like Odin Sphere, but in medieval Japan.
The top sketch is similar to that one Disgaea 2 drawing. Actually, I worked out the pose beforehand, but it reminded me of Harada’s drawing. So I filled in the face and the onion in similar fashion.

Anyway, hopping on the Binchou-tan train, I realized that I haven’t drawn anything like this in a while, so she looks horrible and off-balance, etc.
Binchou

Feeling really crummy with this failed sketch, I proceeded to do more Binchou-shit.
It’s not that moe, though. (click me btw)

Odin Sphere is really good

Oswald
Yeah, I started Odin Sphere when it came out a month or so ago…I’m still tackling it slowing. I really do hate fighting in the Volcano (bloody bouncing magma rocks). The end of Oswald’s story is rather hard, too.
If anything, Odin Sphere is great for the story, which someone told me it’s based on the opera “Nibulengen”. It’s interesting to play through each character and see how their lives intertwine with the story with all the tragedy and resolutions. I thought Gwendolyn’s ending was rather touching, too. Though, it’d be interesting to see Gwendolyn as a housewife, which is what granted the drawing.
Here’s a more risque edit.
Now this edit is just stupid.
