I bought a PS3 and I feel a little sad.
But I have Disgaea 3, so that’s ok!
Here is one of the featured art I did for the strategy guide, which you should buy right here.

A naked one, I guess.
I actually drew this one with the intention of messing around and drawing multiple costumes, but I just decided to leave her naked. True story.
Speaking of Disgaea 3, I finished up more art for the strategy guide, so be sure to pick that up when you see it in stores, even if you don’t have a PS3.

Faces of the ones who ruined everything. NO THANKS ATLUS FOR BREAKING OUR HEARTS
QUOTES FROM A BROKEN MAN: “Atlus was the only reason why we came to Anime Expo. It’s why I came all the way from Australia to this shit convention and then they went and wouldn’t even let us in. I felt like I lost a part of myself and I can never get it back. Thanks, thanks a lot, Atlus.”
QUOTES FROM ANOTHER BROKEN HEART: “To add insult to injury, the moment I posted this entry, their newsletter emails saying that they ANNOUNCED PERSONA 4. PROBABLY IN THE ROOM. RIGHT NOW. THAT WE WEREN’T ALLOWED TO GO INTO.”
In further news, this whole month’s theme is now “ATLUS FUCKS VISUBLOG IN THE ASS” month. THANKS.

Even though I finished this one up about a month or so ago, I just got the okay to put this one up, since the strategy guide is out and all. Game comes out next week, too (I think).
Here’s also the 4koma featured in the book with text and all (that one post was really weird, huh)
You can get the Afternoon of Darkness strategy guide right here. It’s looks really good, too! Buy 10 or so copies.
In other news, I picked up Phoenix Wright today. Expect some fanart of that in the near future (maybe).

Once again, I was asked to do another drawing for a DoubleJump publication; this time it was for the Disgaea PSP game. It’s pretty much a port with some extras, so most of the strategy guide can be used for the PS2 version, too. And that’s exactly what I had to draw about.
Thank god Ashura gave me the ideas to draw on, because I really am terrible with 4koma. Also, I have really crappy handwriting on the tablet and it took maybe more than an hour to get the text looking right.
As per request, I took down the 4koma.
Also, if you want to make your own edits, here’s versions with out the text and boxes.

The pose is awfully stiff, but I’m glad how the colors came out. I’m still not very experienced at it, so I was constantly asking for advice and eyeballing a palette very slowly. I guess I mimicked Harada’s CG style a little too closely. Even so, I learned quite a bit, so it was worth it.
Here’s the version without lines.
And uh, no clothes?
I’m really jealous of Harada’s stuff; they’re so cute and sexy and really colorful. I particularly like the kunoichi from Disgaea 2 since it appears that she probably is wearing no underwear at all. Probably for mobility? I also like Rozalin; she’s got the pretty fancy costume with the cute hair style and the tsundere personality. Ugh, I should at least attempt to play Disgaea at least once more during the summer.
