An unfinished comic I did for the 24 Hour Comics Day. I came in with a pretty good premise thought up by Tollmaster (hi toll) but by page 6 I was out of steam. In the end, the characters I had in mind didn’t end up coming through so I just drew a bunch of Sega stuff instead.

How would you continue the comic?

    HAHAHAH! Wow, that’s creative!

    Weird idea for an ending:

Hero is also trapped, found by someone else in an old SNES cart. He also gets freed, and seeks to destroy the Demon King.

The whole thing becomes ridiculous when they realize that Sega is no longer making consoles and even makes games for Nintendo’s consoles. They decided to go have some drinks, talk about the good ol’ times.

You could always do something with an old game trade in store that has a bunch of classics in it and is run by some über nerd that knows some sort of ridiculous prophecy and then just go from there, I don’t know.

Kinglar, I never thought of that.

…but does it work on kings- oh wait, yeah, course. Hm. This is an interesting direction to take it.

Anatole and Kaptain, I might adapt your idea for the continuation though. And Kinglar, I’ll keep your idea in mind.

Persona I forgive you for being too tired (probably drunk) to continue, but only because you drew the cuuuuutest Opa Opa ever, man. Meganekko holding an Opa Opa going “PA~!”–how did you know my weakness?

the chick should make a backpack out of sonic and the demon king should follow ol’ girl around for a few days, annoying her while she eats, showers, dates, etc. and she gets fed up and stabs him repeatedly for the last 7 pages.

This is similar to an episode of Megas XLR. Coop buys a NES game at a yard sale and ends up taking 3 days trying to into a Genesis (seriously). Unknown to him it’s actually the prison for an intergalactic demon, so once he manages to boot the game (in a Genesis!) it unleashes said demon.

That ended differently though. Giant robot vs. giant monster.

Ashura, you’re right, but you didn’t mention the coolest part: the game was actually a prison for more than one demon, and there was a fighting game style character select screen for them.

He finds that when Sega started making things for Nintendo, it was only because they found a way to siphon off his magnificent power. To earn it back he has to join forces with the heroine by pulling Nintendo related avatars and other such things into the real world. He has to combine with the heroine in order to have much physical control over our realm, and they are totally awesome. Girl attracts boy of interest through asskickery. Sonic and Opa become tools of destruction for the Demon King, but they have to combine with different people; those people’s distinctive personalities alter what these tools (or avatars) look like. Final boss fight, sad end.

The Demon King should attack the Pokémon Center in New York in an attempt to restore his power. Shigeru Miyamoto is present (to sign Gameboys or something, IDK) and he begins to summon Pokémon from a DS, because he is actually a warlock. Maybe it turns out he had something to do with summon and/or sealing away the demon king.

Even though the premise and setup may not be wholly original, this has too much of a potential to be awesome. File it away for later for now, and come back when inspiration will come.

I patiently look forward to updates.

For those who don’t know, that armless Sonic is actually a tamagotchi, from the Saturn version of the game.
