Hi! I think some of you guys have noticed a bit of a change around here. This is what’s up:
New layout!
It’s not a huge renovation or anything, but we cleaned things up a bit. The main thing is that the old layout actually broke in Explorer and some other browsers, but it should be okay now. There are pages at the top, and we’ve redone the forum because I guess the old one had some security issues or something. That brings us to…
A store!
There’s a PayPal store now! We’re still in the middle of figuring how this works exactly, but it’s looking good so far. Right now, we’ve got a pretty small stock of everything because it’s just our AX leftovers, but we’ll print another run of everything if this sells out (we’ll announce when that happens so you guys know it’ll take a little while longer to get and ship stuff). I’m not sure how long shipping takes and it looks like we’re getting orders from all over the world, so please be patient. You can email Persona or I if there are any problems.
A new URL?
We bought www.visublog.com! It’s just a redirect to our current URL, but I think this makes us the official visublog of the internet. Hopefully that’s a little easier to remember!

EDIT: It looks like Nice Girls Nice Cats is sold out already? We’ll look into getting a second run of them this week, so we’ll let you know when that happens.

sadly, it is worth $20. ur traffic is pretty low. if u can manage to get 100,000 new pleople to come and click on ur sponsors, then u may be able to raise ur value by a few hundred. only if it’s consistent though.

oh, and 1 moar thing. iz ok if ur site isn’t worth that much. iz a blog. your revenue comes from paypal and that google ads thing u got way on the bottom. dont let it down u, or else u might get curb stomped! and here’s another tidbit. a value of a website is as much of a sham as the cost for buying carbon offsets. there’s no officially recognized formula to calculate a website’s value. however, the whole getting new people and bandwidth thing is consistent.
your website ranges from $0-$80. ur income via advertisements on the blog and new visitors positively correlate with the value of ur site.

haha where are you getting these random numbers from? I want to look up sites with whatever you are using…
just type in WEBSITE VALUE ESTIMATION on a google search. there are several, though the results will vary. two were just over 4k and one was at 10k. so they are a bit ify, i think. besides, no calculator is going to know the true value of tentacle rape.

This is a general comment regarding the material here.
It’s very technically competent. Good compositions even. Good ideas, some of them very funny.
But none of it is your stylization. It’s all stylization that other people came up with 20 years ago.
You are therefore competing against 100 “Artist Alleys” full of artists who are drawing the same overdone stylization.
If you want to get anywhere interesting you need to break new ground. I see none of that here. It’s all very well-drawn tripe, commodity art.
