Wow, I’m seeing a lot of sexual energy in this one. Maybe I’m reading too much into this or have been corrupted by my old English classes.
However, if I were to mirror this illustration with sex, I’d say that the excessive violence would represent the act of sex. It’s primal and leads back to humanities basic instincts. The pain, fear, and sadism also bear similarities of the excitement and submissive and dominant archetypes often associated with sex. And finally, but not the least, the gushing blood must obviously signify explosive orgasms. This is no sweet romance, rather it is most obviously a single night of unrestrained passion.
My final analysis of this illustration, Kinuko is kinky as hell.
I just love it when artist go all out and pour their passion into work. I give this a gold star.

haha i dont know if you intended it but this drawing reminds me of a Dalinian ilustration in his book “Les Vins de Gala et du Divin” in which blood pour on top of a mountain of nudes from a cat´s whiskers.
Im not very interested in comic drawing but im putting this blog in my favorites, good job on the rock opera too.
